Do you need pictures for your child’s home-based program?

Having trouble finding images for your child’s programs?

Try a few of these resourceful ideas:

  1. Digital Camera: Take pictures of daily routines, tasks, and objects with your digital camera. Print them out, laminate, and there you will have your own program cards and/or icons.

  2. Computer: Google it! Go to www.google.com then click on ‘images’ listed below the search line. Enter the image you would like to find. Google will find the image. You can then enlarge the picture, print, and laminate. Clear contact paper may also be used rather than lamination.

  3. Magazines/Picture Books: Look through old magazines or picture books for pictures of items that may be used for language, receptive labeling, and matching programs.
