Liliana makes great strides

Liliana is a 2-year-old girl abandoned as an infant. She currently lives at the Failure to Thrive Unit of the I. T. Nicolaescu Hospital in Tutova, Romania. When we first met Liliana in November of 2004, she would not respond to her name, did not like to be touched and would not stand or walk. Upon receiving ABA by our Therapists, Liliana is now very social and enjoys the interaction of her peers as well as the adults she meets. She continues to show improvement in her cognitive, motor and social skills. This in essence will give her a greater opportunity of being placed in a foster home and being adopted.

Pictured below: Liliana learns to walk by pushing a scooter around Tutova’s Hospital with one of the ABA therapists.
