Cristi’s Outreach Foundation in Barlad, Romania
Our Foundation located in Barlad,
Romania, continues to reach out to the community
of Barlad and the surrounding towns and
villages. In addition to the children who have
attended Cristi’s Outreach since the summer of
2004, we have recently added four more children
to our therapeutic center. All of these children
are receiving intensive ABA services daily
including small group sessions weekly and speech
and language therapy. We are also continuing our
therapeutic services with special needs children
who were abandoned at the Failure to Thrive Unit
of the I.T. Nicolaescu Hospital in Tutova,
Romania. We are providing 16 hours of intensive
ABA and speech therapy in a 1:1 and small group
setting to these most vulnerable children. Our
efforts abroad continue to grow and we have
recently been asked to expand our foundation to
Iasi, Romania.
